Have you heard the Good News? This is a question that I have had within e more often than maybe ever before. When I was younger in the faith, I remember the desire I had to “tell” everyone about Jesus.

I really didn’t tell that many people about Him that I recall. I was so amazed at what was happening in my own life that I was mostly focused on me. I simply was caught up with this new life I was experiencing. I mean seriously I didn’t know this life existed.

Get them saved. Tell them about Jesus. I was so busy in still being told about Jesus. I didn’t know it then; I know now that I was hungry and thirsty for righteousness, but I wasn’t really motivated to do the Great Commission.

I know, even then I felt selfish and near condemned. I wasn’t doing what many of them were doing. I think I wanted to but I knew I wasn’t ready. I knew there would be questions like there always are. I would not be able to answer them.

Have you ever been there? Ever cared so much about something or someone that any ol’ way wasn’t, ok? That it meant so much that you didn’t want to mess it up? I felt that way, interestingly enough I still feel that way.

It’s an interesting concept to sit back and watch it take place before your eyes. Having a few more years and a lot more perspective about the Kingdom in which I reside in the midst of a republic.
